WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT STARTING SOLIDS FOR YOUR BABY.
WHO recommends 6 months of exclusive breastfeeding. It means you don’t need to offer anything except breastmilk for first 6 months. Even water is not required as breastmilk has 80% water content in it. Unfortunately, due to any medical/personal conditions, if you want to wean after 4 months of the baby, please do converse with your Pediatrician and if agreed, then you can start wit plain rice and dal water.
Once you decide to introduce solids to your baby, start with the starchy rice water remained after boiling rice. Also, moong dal water can be given. Continue this for atleast a week before beginning balvvardhak food.
You can start with rice and dal water before starting our foods. Then move on to Balvvardhak Khichdi mix and nachni satva. Also, at the same time, you can began serving fruit juices and sooji kheer in a liquidy consistency.
We recommend starting ages for all our products. You can start feeding the baby products according to age category, like 6 months onwards, 7 month onwards and so on.
Always follow the 3-day rule while introducing any new product, i.e give the new product for a consecutive 3 days in the mornings to check for any reaction or allergies.
Ideally, these baby foods can be given till the age of 1.5 to 2 years average.But make sure that by the age of 1, your baby is introduced to all varieties of foods you eat yourself at home.

your baby should try to chew start chewing after about 11 months of age. To serve these mixes as finger foods, different recipes of these homemade powders can be made such as cereal /pulses mix thalipeeth, sathu maavu dosa, nachni satva pancakes etc. Do not shy away from trying different versions.
NO! As we said, all our products are purely homemade by a mom and it needs to boiled on gas for atleast a minute or two. Only adding hot water or milk is not recommended.
Absolutely, you can use it while travelling. You will need to carry some extra stuff but what’s more than your babies health ,right? We suggest you carry an electric kettle of about 1.7 litre capacity which has a wide mouth for easy cleaning too.
We provide basic baby food powders and avoid adding any vegetable powders or flavours, because we do not believe in adding artificial add ons. Hence, we do not provide multiple flavours ,other than the basic varieties listed.
We suggest you add fresh steamed or boiled vegetables ,puree them and add to our bases for that extra flavour and nourishment.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT STORING YOUR BABY FOOD.
If remains sealed, the product remains good for 4-6 months depending on the climatic conditions. Once a bag is opened we recommend it’s consumed within 2 months.
Once you receive our products, please store them in a clean, dry air tight container at room temperature. You can obviously also store them in the pouches you receive. You just need to take care that it doesn’t come in contact with any drop of water. Avoid moisture completely.
It is not necessary to refrigerate , but you can store all products in the refrigerator to increase shelf life by 3-4 weeks.

All products will be freshly prepared after you place your order online. So it will take 1-2 days to dispatch your products after you order online. Depending on your location, the shipment will reach you within 3-5 days from date of order
